Look for the native destination name
At the submarine, the second landscape row contains the 400, 500 and 600 m buttons. The recorded 400 m selection is named Glacial Depths. The right preview shows a crystal deposit, which helps distinguish this destination from the starting scrap region.

Collect with the resource tool
During the glacial expeditions, the player fires the plasma beam at the crystal deposits. The bubble tool is used on jellyfish. Track the selected tool and its counter instead of assuming that every target uses the same weapon.
Check the return result
A later expedition result separately lists 12 jellyfish and 3,237 crystals. The jellyfish are also represented in the inventory panel; the crystal amount is a separate result line. These are one run’s totals, not a guaranteed yield from the 400 m destination.

Spend the matching material
The recorded Store Speed III tooltip uses a red crystal icon and a cost of 20 for the next level. Compare that icon with your resource balance before buying. A shell balance alone does not satisfy a crystal cost.
